Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you want to know about pressure washing — from safety and pricing to scheduling and what to expect.

How often should I have my house washed?

Most homes benefit from a professional wash every 12-18 months. Homes under trees, near water, or in humid areas (like Georgia summers) may need it annually. Regular washing prevents permanent staining and extends the life of your paint and siding.

Is pressure washing safe for my siding?

Yes — when done correctly. We use a soft wash system for house exteriors, not high pressure. High pressure can crack vinyl, strip paint, and force water behind siding. Our soft wash uses biodegradable cleaning solutions at low pressure to clean gently and thoroughly.

Will pressure washing damage my roof?

High-pressure washing WILL damage asphalt shingles — it strips the protective granules and can void your roof warranty. That's why we exclusively use soft washing for roofs: a low-pressure application of algae-killing solution followed by a gentle rinse. It's the only method recommended by shingle manufacturers.

Do I need to be home during the service?

Not necessarily. As long as we have access to an exterior water spigot and can reach the areas to be cleaned, you don't need to be present. Many customers give us driveway access and go about their day. We'll let you know when we're done.

What do I need to do to prepare?

Very little! Close all windows, bring in any items near the house that could get wet, and make sure pets are inside. If you have particularly delicate plants near the foundation, let us know — we'll cover them. We bring everything else.

Are your cleaning solutions safe?

Yes. Our solutions are biodegradable, phosphate-free, and safe for plants, pets, and people once dry. We pre-wet all landscaping before applying any cleaning solution and rinse plants thoroughly after. If you have specific plant concerns, just let us know.

What if it rains on my scheduled day?

Light rain is usually fine — our cleaning solutions actually benefit from moisture. For heavy rain or thunderstorms, we'll reschedule at no charge. We monitor the forecast and will contact you 24 hours before if weather looks like an issue.

How long does a typical job take?

Driveway cleaning: 1-2 hours. House washing: 2-4 hours. Roof soft washing: 2-5 hours depending on size. Deck and fence: 1-3 hours. We'll give you a time estimate with your quote.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, and all major credit/debit cards. Payment is due upon completion of the work. For commercial recurring services, we offer net-15 invoicing.

Are you insured?

Absolutely. We carry $2 million in general liability insurance and full workers' compensation coverage. Your property is protected from the moment we arrive.

Do you offer any guarantees?

Yes — if you're not satisfied with the results for any reason, we'll come back and re-clean at no charge. We stand behind every job we do.

How far in advance should I book?

During spring and summer (our busy season), booking 1-2 weeks ahead is recommended. But we often have same-week availability, especially for smaller jobs. Call or request a quote and we'll find a time that works.

Still have questions?

We're happy to answer anything. Call us or request a quote and ask away.
